Bay Area School Psychology’s Community Practitioner will assist families and school communities determine the most optimal learning strategies that increase student achievement and maximize your child’s effort and motivation.

Comprehensive Psychoeducational Assessment

Comprehensive assessments are provided to assist families and school communities with the determination of Special Education and Related Services, such as:

  • Gifted Program Services

  • Specific Learning Disabilities (such as Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, or Dysgraphia)

  • Attention and Hyperactivity Concerns

  • Concerns with Executive Functioning, Memory, Thinking and Decision Making/ Processing Speed

  • Learning concerns related to Autism Spectrum Disorders

  • Cognitive or Developmental Delays

 

For families-

Assist with the development of academic or behavioral interventions that promote positive student outcomes.

Help student’s understand their potential learning styles and how to advocate for their academic, social, and emotional needs.

For school communities-

Consultation that supports the health and wellness of students through mental health counseling, assistance and interpretation regarding data-based academic, social, emotional, and behavioral interventions.

Identify and address learning and/or behavioral concerns that interfere with a student’s school success.

Ensure that high achieving students are challenged enough through their school curriculum.


For their futures-

Collaboration that can help coordinate potential special education and related services through a 504 Accommodation Plan or Individual Education Plan (IEP), community support services, and consultation with health care providers.
